This is recipe from an old friend that I spent much time with fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. It is simple and compliments the crab with no unnecessary fillers that take away from that sweet crab taste. Enjoy

Ingredients For maryland crab cakes

1 lbfresh jumbo or lump blue crab meat.

2 Tbspmayonnaise

2eggs, lightly beaten

1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspcayenne pepper

1/4 tspsalt
-
1/2small onion, grated

1/2 Tbspmustard powder

1 tspfresh lemon juice
-
1 tspfresh chopped parsley

1/2 tspold bay seasoning

18ritz crackers,crumbled
How To Make maryland crab cakes

1Combine all ingredients except crackers

2Add cracker crumbs in as close to the time you will be sauteeing as possible so they don't get soggy

3form into patties about the size of a hamburger

4saute in frying pan on medium to high heat in butter,10 minutes each side

5make sure crab cakes are crisp outside but moist inside
