This is a great way to cook fish, especially if you are skeptical or nervous about having to flip fish in a pan. No need to flip this one! This recipe is also posted on my personal blog foodyschmoodyblog.com where you can find more easy to make family recipes.

Ingredients For lemon garlic baked cod

  • 2 lb
    cod fillets
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped parsley, fresh
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • OPTION TOPPING INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 c
    seasoned panko crumbs

How To Make lemon garlic baked cod

    Preheat oven to 425 F.
  • 2
    In a bowl stir together sour cream, zest, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture over the cod fillets. Place fillets on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper.

    If panko topping is desired, stir together the panko and butter and press on the tops of fillets.

    Bake 425 for 10-12 minutes.
