There are many states in India where people consume fish. And there are over 100 varieties of fishes available. Categorically there are fresh water fishes and sea fishes. Generally people in coastal areas have sea fishes as those are mostly available. We get fresh water fishes like Rahu, Hilsa, Salmon, Prawn, Pabo Catfish etc. King Fish, Butter Fish are the sea fish varieties that we get in Delhi. There are others many varieties also available. Here I am providing a simple fish curry that you can have with steamed rice. [I have used turmeric powder for color].
