Made these for my husband's birthday and they were a big hit! I have a huge herb garden, and I love using fresh herbs in just about everything I cook. I hope you enjoy these as much as my family does!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

These herb-marinated shrimp will be delicious all summer long. They are filled with fresh basil, oregano, and garlic flavors. Grilling adds a slight char to the shrimp and enhances their flavor. Enjoy as a meal or a snack.

    4
    Process until well blended.
  • Combine herb mixture and shrimp in a large resealable bag.
    5
Combine herb mixture and shrimp in a large resealable bag and toss to coat. Marinate shrimp in the fridge for 30 minutes. Marinating any longer than 1 hour can result in rubbery shrimp. Preheat the grill. If broiling, start preheating the oven.
  • Thread shrimp onto the wooden skewers.
    6
Remove shrimp from the bag and thread onto skewers, you should have at least 6 shrimp to a skewer. Place skewers on a grill rack coated with cooking spray.
  • Grill the shrimp.
    7
Grill for three minutes on each side. DO NOT overcook or the shrimp will be dry and chewy.
  • Grilled shrimp on a baking sheet.
