I love Salmon cakes anytime, if your a fan of Salmon and want a healthier version this is the recipe for you. Some may not be a fan of coconut oil but it doesn't taste like it, and it's low in calories and healthier. I grew up on my Mama's she made everything from scratch I miss her and these remind me of hers. Enjoy!!

Ingredients For healthier salmon cakes

  • 8 ounce can
    salmon, wild caught
  • 1 Tbsp
    coconut flour, oraganic
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1
    egg, omega-3, cage free, organic
  • sea salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    mustard, any type
  • 1 Tbsp
    coconut oil

How To Make healthier salmon cakes

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except coconut oil in a bowl and mix well, form into 4-patties.

    Heat coconut oil in pan, place the Patties in the hot oil and cook for approximately 4-minutes on each side.

    Serve with vegetables of your choice. I like topping them with grilled onions.
