There is nothing like combining two comfort food favorites, grilled cheese and tuna melts..Mmmm Mmmm Good. A little high on the calories but Ohh so worth it. I made this with Franz's San Juan Bread and swiss cheese this time but next time I think I'll add some guyere shavings as well as a few dill pickles on it too. possibilities are endless.

Ingredients For grilled tuna melt

your favorite tuna salad

4 slicefavorite bread, rye, whole grain or sourdough work best

4 slicefavorite cheese
How To Make grilled tuna melt

1Butter one side of each slice of bread.

2Put enough tuna salad to cover slice of bread on two slices of bread opposite side from the butter.

3Cover with 2 slices of your favorite cheese cover with second slice of bread butter side up.

4Place on hot griddle buttered side down, flip when browned. Remove off griddle when cheese is melted and bread is well browned.
