Here is another Southern Comfort Food. Grits aren't just for breakfast anymore. Most seafood restaurants in the South serve grits on their seafood buffets. It's a good accompaniment for shrimp. I know you will like it.

1 lbfresh shrimp, peeled, cooked and deveined

3 cwater

1 cwhipping cream

1/4 cbutter or margarine

1 tspsalt

1 cquick cooking grits

1 cextra sharp shredded cheddar cheese

2 clovegarlic, minced
How To Make garlic shrimp and grits

1Bring 3 cups water, whipping cream, butter and salt to a boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and whisk in grits. Cook, whisking constantly, 7 to 9 minutes, or until mixture is smooth. Stir in shrimp, cheese and garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
