Ingredients For fried oysters

  • 1 c
    cracker meal
  • 1 c
    cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 12 oz
    container fresh oysters, drained
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • vegetable oil

How To Make fried oysters

  • 1
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl. Dip oysters in egg, then dredgein meal mixture. Fry oysters in deep hot oil, 375 degrees for 1 1/2 minutes, or until golden, turning once. Serve right away. Makes 4 servings.
