We love to fish. We get these fresh bass filets cooked up crispy and put into a hoagie bun with mayo and pickle - yum.

    fresh bass filets
  • 2/3 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2
    hoagie buns
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 6
    dill pickles

How To Make fresh bass hoagie sandwiches.

    Filet the fish and check for bones. Mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, paprika and black pepper together. Add the oil and butter to a skillet. Brown the filets on each side, about 4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fish.

    Spread the hoagie buns with mayonnaise and put 3 pickles on each one. Lay the fish on the buns and enjoy.
