Ingredients For fluffy salmon patties

  • 16 oz
    can of salmon
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/3 c
    minced onion
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • cooking oil

How To Make fluffy salmon patties

  • 1
    drain and clean salmon reserving liquid
  • 2
    mix salmon , egg, onion and flour
  • 3
    mix reserved salmon liquid and baking powder add to salmon mixture
  • 4
    drop by spoonful into hot oil until golden brown . Drain on paper towel
  • 5
    if you do these in a deep fryer they only take 2 minutes to cook.. Had never done them that way until tonight.. they are a bit lighter and poofier then done in a skillet frying.. I think I like em even more this way... so did the kids
