Ingredients For fish batter

  • 1
    egg white
  • 3/4 c
    beer, open and flat no carbs.
  • 2 tsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 c
    aunt jemima pancake mix ,original
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/3 c
    water

How To Make fish batter

  • 1
    Combine egg white,beer,1/3 cup water and 2 teaspoons oil.add dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.Heat oil in fryer i use electric skillet to 375 degrees.pat fish fillets dry;if the batter wont adhere dust with flour first. Fry 3-5 mins,depending on thickness of fillets,or until golden brown.Fish with no bones will float when done
