Ingredients For easy tuna cakes & sauce

  • 3/4 c
    chopped celery
  • 3/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    cream cheese
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 5/8 tsp
    red pepper
  • 1/3 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    dill
  • 1 lg
    can of tuna
  • 1
    egg white
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    yogurt, plain
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    cucumber, diced
  • 1 tsp
    dill
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make easy tuna cakes & sauce

    Coat skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium high heat.

    Saute celery and onion until tender.
  • 3
    Place in a bowl with cream cheese and lemon juice and red pepper.

    Add breadcrumbs and dried dill, tuna and egg white.
  • 5
    Divide into 8 equal portions.

    In a skillet over medium high heat, cook 4 cakes, 2 minutes on each side.

    Repeat at remaining 4 cakes.

    Combine sauce in small bowl. Serve with tuna cakes.
