easy, easy asian tilapia in microwave

My friend Pan Hui who has a couple of Chinese Restaurants passed this easy way of cooking Tilapia to me. It is more of a technique than a recipe, you adjust for amount you are cooking. I serve with rice, vegetable and a nice salad.

Ingredients For easy, easy asian tilapia in microwave

4tilapia fillets

knobginger, cut into slivers

4-5green onions, slice on diagonal

1-2 Tbspsoy sauce

1/4 tspsesame oil

1-2 Tbspcanola oil
How To Make easy, easy asian tilapia in microwave

1Lay Tilapia fillets on a plate. Sprinkle with green onion and ginger. Drizzle soy, sesame oil and canola over top.

2Cover plate with plastic wrap, leaving a small area unsealed. Microwave in 1 minute increments until fish is white all the way through.

3Serve and congratulate yourself on the easiest fish dish you have ever prepared and it didn't stink up the house because of the ginger.

4Garnish with more green onion if desired.
