This is an old recipe from the 1950's. Its easy and good. I'm sure many people already have this, or one like it, but a friend asked me to post it.

Ingredients For easy classic tuna casserole

1 ccooked and drained macaroni, elbows or shells

1/2 cchopped onion

1/4 cchopped green or red bell pepper
-
1 cancondensed cream of chicken soup (or substitute cream of celery or mushroom)

2 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 canoil packed tuna, drained (5 ounce can)

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cslivered almonds, divided
How To Make easy classic tuna casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together all ingredients except almonds. Stir in half of the almonds. Pour mixture into a buttered casserole dish. Top with remaining almonds. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until hot and browned a bit on the top.
