1/2 ceach flour and cornstarch

1/2 tspchinese 5 spice

2 lbbass fillets cut into cubes

2egg whites beaten until frothly

oil for deep frying

1 Tbspoil

1 lgcucumber seeded and sliced

1 mdonion cut into wedges and separated

3 clovegarlic minced
-
1 tspcornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp. water

1 tspsesame oil

1 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1/4 crice wine vinegar
-
3 Tbspbrown sugar

1 Tbspfish sauce
-
fresh cilantro for garnish
How To Make cucumber onion bass stir fry

1Mix the flour, cornstarch and Chinese 5 Spice together. Get the oil hot for deep frying 350 degrees. In batches dip the fish in the egg whites then dredge in flour mixture. Shake off excess then fry until golden. Drain on paper towel.

2Add oil to a wok or large skillet. Add the onion and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and cucumber and stir fry for 30 seconds. Stir in the cornstarch/ water mixture. Then add the remaining ingredients. Stir fry until sauce is thickened. Add the fish cubes and stir fry another minute.
