creamy tuna casserole

Need a quick dish? I use this recipe when the pantry is low or i just don't have time to make one of my more traditional meals. It's creamier than most Tuna Casseroles that I've tried and it seems to be a big hit with the family (even the ones that don't like tuna casserole).

Ingredients For creamy tuna casserole

  • 1 pkg
    egg noodles, wide and cooked
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    tuna, packed in water & drained
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • shredded white cheese of choice
  • TOPPINGS: CHOOSE ONE
  • potato chips, crushed
  • panko bread crumbs
  • bread crumbs, seasoned
  • french fried onions

How To Make creamy tuna casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350F.
  • 2
    In a covered casserole dish, combine soup, sour cream and salt & pepper. Stir well.
  • 3
    Sprinkle with Parmesan or other shredded cheese.
  • 4
    Sprinkle topping over the cheese, cover and bake for 30 minutes.
