A very tasteful and healthier type of dish. Tofu is a soy based bean curd, which is very healthy. My dad loves this dish.

Ingredients For crabmeat and tofu patties

21 oztofu, firm and well drained

1egg, slightly beaten

1 tsplemon juice
-
4 Tbsppanko, japanese bread crumbs

1/2 tspsalt
-
pepper to taste
-
1 cancrabmeat, drained (6 oz.)

2 ozfresh mushroom or canned mushroom
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
- DIPPING SAUCE:
-
2 Tbspsour cream
-
2 Tbspmayonnaise
-
1 tspketsup
-
1 tspchili sauce
-
1 tspsugar
How To Make crabmeat and tofu patties

1Crumble the tofu with a fork. Mix in the egg, lemon juice, panko, salt, and pepper.

2Chop mushrooms, combine tofu and crab meat. Divide into eight patties, make the patties about 3/4 of an inch thick.

3Heat the vegetable oil in s skillet over medium-high heat. Grill patties for 3 minutes, then flip them over and grill for 3 minutes, should be golden brown.

4Mix together all the ingredients for the dipping sauce. Serve with crab meat patties. YUMMMO!!!
