Ingredients For crab cakes and fried biscuits

  • 12 oz
    crab meat
  • 1/3 c
    ff mayo
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2-1 c
    wheat crackers, finely crushed
  • 1/2 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    mrs. dash zesty lime
  • 2
    green onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 c
    wheat crackers, finely crushed
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1 pkg
    frozen biscuits

How To Make crab cakes and fried biscuits

    In med. bowl, mix together mayo, egg, pepper, mrs. dash, green onion and parsley. Add crab meat and 1/2 - 1 c of crushed wheat crackers. Fold together.

    Form about 6 patties, dip in cracker crumbs fry in about 1/4 c of canola oil, about 5 min. on each side or med-med low heat.

    Thaw and flatten biscuits, fry in small amount of canola or olive oil, keep flattening with spatula as they cook and rise. Cook about 4-5 min on each side over med-low heat.
