Jumbo lump crab meat only for us. Sorry I was putting these in the oven and had a filet to get ready too. This is the only picture I have, will add next time I make them.

Ingredients For crab cakes

  • 1 lb
    jumbo lump crab meat
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten (2 can be used also)
  • 1/2 c
    mayo
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    seafood seasoning i.e. old bay
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 12
    saltine crackers smashed into crumbs
  • parsley just enough for 1 lb. crab meat

How To Make crab cakes

    In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the crab meat and mix well. Add crab meat and gently mix into the wet ingredients try not to break up too much of the lumps but you can a little. Form into desired size, I make two large or four smaller ones. I preheat the oven to 400 and bake them for 20 minutes. If desired, put under broiler 1 minute at the end. Pan fry is good but I don't like to fry foods, but you can do that also. Enjoy
