Super simple, light and delicious. This was a delicious quick dinner. You could make smaller patties and use more Hawaiian rolls to make this a memorable appetizer for your next party.

How To Make crab cake sliders
-
1Mix first seven ingredients. Add panko bread crumbs and egg. Mix well and form into 8 patties about the size of your Hawaiian rolls. (If you have any extra, make a patty or two to add to a salad for tomorrow's lunch!)
-
2Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on each side. For the first batch 10 minutes on the first side, 5 on the second, then 5 minutes per side.
-
3Meanwhile lightly toast the Hawaiian rolls under the broiler. Spread with mayonnaise and add a slice of tomato. When the crab cakes are ready, add to the sliders and carefully close each sandwich. Enjoy!
-
4*Sometimes we make these with imitation crab meat, which is cheaper and also quite good. This recipe was actually created with imitation crab, but it is always better with the real thing!
