This recipe is from the Colonial Park United Methodist Church cookbook in Memphis, TN. There's no date on the cookbook, but I remember my mother being the editor for it when I was in high school, so late 60's. This one was submitted by Marijean Canfield

Ingredients For chopstick tuna casserole

  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1
    3 oz can chow mein noodles
  • 1 can
    tuna, drained
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    cashews
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • note: i addedabout a tablespoon of soy sauce and loved it.

How To Make chopstick tuna casserole

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients retaining enough noodles to sprinkle on top.

    Place in a greased casserole dish and sprinkle the reserved noodles on top.

    Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. If you double the recipe bake for 30 minutes.
