Just adopted this recipe and I am making some changes..This recipe calls for corn meal and I am omitting it, adding mustard and paprika to this recipe to make it my own!

Ingredients For beer batter fish fry

  • 1 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    mustard (to taste)
  • 6 oz
    beer 1/2 a can of beer your choice
  • 2 lb
    fish filets, your choice

How To Make beer batter fish fry

  • 1
    Combine dry ingredients and add beer to get a sticky consistency for dipping.
  • 2
    Salt fish and dip in batter.
  • 3
    Deep fry at 375 degrees until fish is golden brown.
