Ingredients For angels on horseback

  • 1 pt
    oysters, fresh
  • 12 slice
    bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 5/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 5/8 tsp
    paprika
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley

How To Make angels on horseback

  • 1
    Drain oysters.
  • 2
    Lay an oyster across 1/2 slice bacon.
  • 3
    Sprinkle each oyster with seasonings and parsley.
  • 4
    Roll entire strip of bacon around oyster and fasten with toothpicks.
  • 5
    Place oyster on a rack in a shallow baking dish.
  • 6
    Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.

    Remove toothpicks and serve.
