Ingredients For adobong isda - fish adobo

  • 3 lb
    trout, bluefish or similar fish, dressed
  • 1 Tbsp
    finely minced garlic
  • 1/3 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly ground pepper
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable or corn oil

How To Make adobong isda - fish adobo

    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan except the oil. Marinate for one hour.

    Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Remove fish and set aside. Reduce sauce to half and set aside.

    Fry fish in hot oil till it is brown, and pour sauce in with fish. Simmer for 3 minutes and serve hot.
