My sister-in-law gave me this recipe. My husband doesn't normally like any chili that's white or has chicken in it (he says it's not natural- lol!)However, he loved this version! So this one is a keeper!

Ingredients For white chicken chili

1 lbcooked chicken, diced (i used rotisserie chicken)

1onion, diced

1 1/2 tspgarlic powder

1 Tbspolive oil
-
31 ozgreat northern beans. drained and rinsed

14 1/2 ozchicken broth
-
8 ozcanned green chilies
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspground cumin
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/4 tspcayenne pepper
-
8 ozsour cream or greek yogurt
-
1/2 cwhipping cream
- TOPPINGS:
-
avocado
-
sour cream
-
monterey jack cheese
-
crushed tortilla chips
-
fresh cilantro
How To Make white chicken chili

1Saute onions and garlic powder in olive oil until softened. Add chicken, beans, broth, chilies, salt, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

2Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and whipping cream. Heat slightly and serve.

3*Serve with your choice of topping but is very good with all the ones listed above.
