Ingredients For turmeric braised chicken with onion and ginger

3 Tbspghee

1 lgonion diced

2 Tbspgrated ginger

4 clovegarlic minced

1 tspground turmeric

1/2 tspmexican oregano

1/4 tspeach ground cinnamon and cardamom

1 cdry white wine

4chicken thighs bone in skin removed
How To Make turmeric braised chicken with onion and ginger

1Remove the skin from the chicken. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

2Add the ghee to a large skillet with a lid. Add the onions and saute 5 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, turmeric, oregano, cinnamon and cardamom. cook 1 minute until fragrant.

3Add the wine and bring to a boil scrapping bottom of pan. Add the chicken and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cover

4Simmer for about 20 minutes until no longer pink. The sauce will thicken when cooked. Serve the chicken with the sauce.
