I created a sixteenth recipe in my tiger sauce series. This roasted chicken recipe is seasoned with tiger sauce and stuffed with jalapenos and banana peppers inside the skin. It's great with a side of mac and cheese or potatoes au gratin and a side salad.

Ingredients For tiger roasted chicken

1 cwater

1 cmargarine, divided

1 1/2 ctiger sauce, divided

3 lbwhole chicken, giblets removed

5fresh jalapenos, sliced

3banana pepper, sliced
-
1 Tbspsea salt mixed with black pepper

2 tspcreole seasoning
-
1 tspground cumin
-
1 cwhipped cream cheese
-
1/2 choney mustard
-
1packet Italian dressing mix
How To Make tiger roasted chicken

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Add water, 1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup tiger sauce in a roasting pan.

3Stuff sliced jalapenos and banana peppers under the chicken skin. Spread remaining margarine all over the chicken and season with sea salt/black pepper, creole seasoning and cumin.

4Place the chicken in a prepared roasting pan. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.

5In a small bowl, whisk whipped cream cheese, honey mustard, Italian dressing mix and remaining tiger sauce together until blended.

6Take the chicken out of the oven. Spread tiger sauce mixture all over the chicken and baste with chicken drippings. Cover with aluminum foil.

7Return to the oven for 30 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
