Ingredients For tex-mex chicken skewers with spicy sauce

1 pkgtaco seasoning mix, divided

6boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1" pieces

1 lgclove garlic

1/4 tspsalt

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1 cplain, non-fat yogurt

1red bell pepper, cut into chunks

1green bell pepper, cut into chunks

1yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 lgpurple onion, cut into chunks

1 smlime zested and juiced
How To Make tex-mex chicken skewers with spicy sauce

1In a large bowl combine 3 tbsp. taco seasoning mix (or less if desired), lime zest and juice and chicken; toss to coat well. Cover and chill 2 hours.

2For sauce, grate garlic clove or use garlic press and combine with salt to form a smooth paste. Place in a small bowl with vegetable oil; mix well. Stir in yogurt and taco seasoning to taste . Cover and chill before serving.

3Thread the chicken alternately with peppers and onion; grill over hot coals 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with Yogurt Sauce. (If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them first).
