Ingredients For tempura sesame chicken
- TEMPURA BATTER

1/2 ceach cornstarch and flour

2egg whites

1/2 ccold seltzer water
- CHICKEN

1 lbboneless skinless chicken thighs cut into chunks

2 tspsesame oil

4 clovegarlic minced

oil for deep frying
- SAUCE

1/4 ceach soy sauce and rice vinegar

3/4 cdark brown sugar

1 Tbspcornstarch
-
1/3 cwater
-
1/2 Tbspblack sesame seeds

rice or rice noodles for serving
How To Make tempura sesame chicken

1Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside.

2Mix the ingredients for the tempura batter together. Add the chicken pieces and coat them with the batter. Bring oil to 350 degrees. Deep fry the chicken in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towel

3Add sesame oil to a skillet. Add the garlic and saute 30 seconds. Add the sauce and bring to a boil and cook until thickened. Add the chicken pieces and cook until warmed through.

4Serve over rice or rice noodles for a complete meal.
