I love sweet and sour recipes and it was all I made when I first got married. My husband still teases me saying that I used to Sweet and Sour him to death. Now, it is a welcomed change when I do make this dish. Enjoy!

Ingredients For sweet and sour chicken

3 Tbspcornstarch

1/4 csugar
-
1 canchicken broth
-
1/4 cvinegar
-
1 Tbspvegetable oil

1 smgreen or red pepper, cut into 2 inch strips

1 lbboneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces

1 canpineapple chunks in juice ( 8 oz ) undrained

4 chot cooked rice
How To Make sweet and sour chicken

1Mix cornstarch and broth. Heat oil in skillet.

2Add chicken and stir-fry until browned.

3Add broth mixture, pineapple, sugar, vinegar and pepper. Heat to a boil. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.

4Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until done.

5Serve over rice.
