Ingredients For sweet and sour chicken

1carrot, coarsely chopped

1 tspcilantro, dried

2 Tbspfresh ginger root, finely chopped

1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 tspchicken bouillon
-
1 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1/3 cred wine vinegar
-
1/3 cdark brown sugar, firmly packed

8 ozpineapple
-
4chicken breasts, boned
-
2 Tbspquick cooking tapioca

1onion, quartered
-
1green bell pepper, chunked
-
hot cooked rice
How To Make sweet and sour chicken

1CROCKPOT-Put vegetables in bottom of crockpot.

2Sprinkle tapioca over vegetables.

3Place chicken atop vegetables.

4Combine all other ingredients except rice in a small bowl.

5Pour over chicken.

6Cover crockpot and turn to low and cook for 8-10 hours.

7Before serving make rice.

8Serve over rice.

9Leftovers can be reheated in microwave.

10OVEN-Put vegetables in bottom of a greased pan. Sprinkle vegetables with tapioca.

11Add chicken to pan.

12Combine all other ingredients except rice in a small bowl.

13Pour over chicken.

14Cover pan tightly with foil.

15Bake in 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Serve over rice.
