I always loved my Chinese chicken or pork stir fry & when they send the extra white rice with your meal I started using that rice & make my own version of a healthier fried rice. Another great meal idea that I am blessed to have my grand children eating as a healthier alternative to eating foods high in salt & other unhealthy ingredients used in most stir fry cooking.

Ingredients For stir fried rice american alternative

1 Tbspgarlic minced

1 1/2 tspfresh ginger minced or grated fine

1 mdonion chopped small or minced
-
1 1/2 cblack beans
-
1 1/2 ccorn
-
1 lbbaby carrots
-
1 1/2 cyellow squash
-
1 1/2 czucchini
-
1 lbchicken, turkey, pork or beef cubed

8 cboiled rice
-
2 Tbspcanola oil
How To Make stir fried rice american alternative

1Over medium to medium high heat ( depending on stove temp. since most stoves variate in temperatures )Saute garlic, onion, ginger in 2 Tbsp canola oil until half sweated in a ex large or chicken fryer skillet.

2Add corn, black beans, zucchini, yellow squash & baby carrots & cover with lid. Allow to steam with above ingredients.

3In separate fry pan brown meat of choice until just done, clear running juices a must. Once meat is finished, add to veggies listed above. Make sure all is combined well w/o mushing the veggies.

4Once Meat & veggie combination is cooked threw add the 8 cups of cooked rice. Stir well & serve.

5Alternative veggies can be used such as Broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms & peppers.
