This is my rendition of a yummy salad I tried at the local supermarket deli....I don't usually measure stuff unless I HAVE to...That's the way I cook. lol , hope you like it

Ingredients For spinach chicken bowtie salad (spicy is optional)

4 lgskinless/boneless chicken breats
-
1 pkgbowtie pasta
-
1 bunchfresh spinach
-
salt and pepper to taste

1 Tbsppaprika* optional
-
1 1/2 cshredded parmasean cheese
-
1 1/2 qtwater
-
3 dasholive oil
-
1 bottlecreamy ceaser dressing (whatever brand you like)
How To Make spinach chicken bowtie salad (spicy is optional)

1Rinse & Cut chicken breasts into small peices and season with salt, pepper and paprika...(you don't have to follow my measurements, use your best judgement...)

2add olive oil to skillet , heat on medium

3cook chicken thoroughly ...cover so it cooks faster and stays juicy, then uncover last 10 min, let cool, pat excess oil off, set aside

4rinse and chop spinach, set aside

5bring water to boil in a 2 quart pot, add package of pasta, *usually the pasta package has directions on how to cook it...

6add few pinches of salt , and a few dashes of olive oil

7boil for 7 min uncovered or until tender. (al dente)

8strain the pasta and add the bottle of creamy ceaser dressing.....

9mix in spinach and chicken, add the Parmasean Cheese then toss salad and serve... (I like to chill it and have a nice cold pasta salad)
