Sarah made this and said it was sort of spicy. So probably I would consider it spicy. LOL

Ingredients For spicy pineapple brown sugar chicken, sarah

  • 1 c
    pineapple juice
  • 6 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 6 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    red pepper flakes (i would make 1 t or none at all)
  • 4-6
    boneless skinless chicken breasts

How To Make spicy pineapple brown sugar chicken, sarah

    Whisk together all but chicken. Place chicken in gallon ziplock. Pour marinade over chicken, seal bag and refrigerate 2-4 hours. Remove chicken, grill 12-15 min until done.

    Note: Reserve 1/4 c marinade to brush on chicken before taking off grill if you want spicier. Can use any cut of chicken you prefer, tenders, breasts, thighs, drumsticks.

    To cook inside, cook in skillet 3-4 min per side. Put on cookie sheet and cook at 400 degrees 10 min. Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
