Ingredients For spicy honey chicken

½ lbchicken breast, skinless and boneless, cut into bite size

2egg whites

1 Tbspcorn starch

1 Tbspall purpose flour

1 pinchsalt

1 pinchground black pepper

vegetable oil for deep frying

1 Tbspsriracha

1 Tbspsoy sauce

1 Tbsprice vinegar

1 tspsesame oil

¼ cchicken stock, no salt

1 clovegarlic, grated

1 Tbspunsalted butter
How To Make spicy honey chicken

1For chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk together egg white, corn starch, flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken to the batter bowl.

2For sauce: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar and chicken stock.

3Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy medium sauce pan over medium heat.

4Drop the chicken one by one carefully and flip the chicken until golden color about 5 minutes. (make it second batch when the pan is full enough of chicken). Take all the chicken pieces from pan with stainless steel strainer and drop them back into oil until chicken golden brown and crispy. Place chicken on a plate with paper towel, set aside.

5Heat the butter in a medium non stick skillet over medium heat. Add grated garlic and cook for short time about 10 seconds.

6Add sauce mixture and whisk until sauce bubbling and start to thicken. Add the chicken, toss to coat and serve.
