Ingredients For slow cooker gypsy stew

  • 2 can
    15 oz. each, garbanzo or navy beans, rinsed and drained (we leave these out by preference)
  • 1 pkg
    10 oz. frozen spinach
  • 1 lb
    chicken, boneless/skinless or pork tenderloin
  • 2 can
    14-1/2 oz. each, chicken broth- 1/3 less sodium
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes, no salt added
  • 1 lg
    sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1
    yellow bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 tsp
    paprika
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt (optional)
  • 8 dash
    fresh ground pepper
  • 8 dash
    cayenne/hot sauce (optional)

How To Make slow cooker gypsy stew

    Add all ingredients to slow cooker

    Cover and cook on either LOW 10-11 hours or on HIGH for 5-6 hours. Serve with warm bread n butter
