Ingredients For slow cooker chicken teriyaki

  • 3 lb
    boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into small pieces
  • 1 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    rice vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    shaoxing wine
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger peeled and minced
  • 8 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • rice or noodles for serving

How To Make slow cooker chicken teriyaki

  • 1
    Place the chicken in a slow cooker. Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, wine, garlic and ginger together.

    Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker. Cook on low 6 hours.

    Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon. Place the sauce in a pot and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch and water together. Stir into the boiling mixture whisking until thick. Remove from the heat and stir in the chicken.

    Serve over rice or noodles.
