I made this tonight and my family loved it! I'd never made chicken and dumplings before, so I was nervous about how it would turn out, but it tasted great! I went off of a very basic recipe and tweaked it to my own liking. I will definitely be making this again!

5 mdchicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 smonion

4 mdpotatoes

2 mdapples

1 canmixed vegetables
-
1 stickbutter, cold

2 tspgarlic, minced

1 cancream of chicken soup, family size

salt and pepper

rosemary, dried
-
basil, fresh
-
oregano, dried

thyme, dried
-
bay leaves, dried

2 lgchicken bouillon cubes
-
water to cover

2 pkgbiscuit dough
How To Make slow-cooker chicken and dumplings

1Place chicken, butter, garlic, onion, apple, and potato slices into crockpot. Add canned veggies. Season to taste, using fresh or dried seasonings.

2Add one family-sized can of cream of chicken soup on top of ingredients.

3Mix bouillon cubes with water to cover ingredients; pour over everything until just covered.

4Cover and cook on HIGH for 6 hours. At 5 hours, add biscuit dough to top; tear each buscuit into four pieces. Recover and cook remaining hour.
