Ingredients For skillet cheesy chicken & rice

1 Tbspvegetable oil

1 1/4 lbskinless bonesless chicken breast halves

1 can(10 3/4 oz.) campbell's condensed cream of soup (regular or 98% fat free)

1 1/4 cwater
-
1/2 tsponion powder
-
1/4 tspground black pepper
-
1 cuncooked regular long-grain white rice
-
2 cfrozen mixed vegetables

1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese
How To Make skillet cheesy chicken & rice

1Heat oil in 12" skillet over med.-high heat.Add chicken and cook 10 min.or until well browned on both sides.REmove chicken from skillet.

2Stir soup.water,onion powder,black pepper and rice in skillet and heat to boil.Reduce heat to low.Cover and cook 15 min.,stirring once halfway through cooking time.

3Stir in vegetables.Return chicken to skillet.Sprinkle with cheese.Cover and cook 5 min.or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
