sinful honey mustard chicken
(3 ratings)
This is a recipe that I had to figure out how to make because it was my favorite at a restaurant that was near where I used to live. When I moved I couldn't find anything to match it anywhere around, so I had to make my own. Most people like this one better!

How To Make sinful honey mustard chicken
-
1Heat skillet over medium flame. Add oil when hot. Then fry chicken breast until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet to a plate cover with foil to keep warm.
-
2Remove oil from pan. Heat pan add water to deglaze the pan. Add the honey mustard sauce. When the honey mustard is completely stirred in, pour the sauce over the cooked chicken. Wash out the skillet before the next step.
-
3Preheat oven to 450o. Heat skillet over medium flame. Add oil when hot. Cook onions until soft. Add mushrooms to skillet, cook until soft (may add more oil if necessary). Then add the bacon.
-
4Place chicken on a baking pan. The sauce that is left over on the plate should then be added to the skillet with the onion mixture. Cook the mixture and sauce until it has thickened. Pour the onion and sauce mixture over the chicken making sure that most of the onion mixture is on top of the breasts.
-
5Cook the breast in the oven for about 15 minutes or until onion mixture is a crispy brown color. Sprinkle the cheeses over the top of the chicken and continue cooking for another 5 minutes so that all the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
