I got the original recipe years ago from a friend and mad it lighter in calories and fat. It's very easy to make and my hubby loves it! That's good enough for me.

Ingredients For simply light creamy chicken casserole

116 oz pkg reduced fat ritz crackers, crushed

1-1/2 stickmelted butter
-
2 ccooked, chopped chicken breasts

18 oz pkg frozen peas
-
1 canfat free cream of mushroom soup
-
1 canfat free cream of chicken soup
-
1 clight sour cream
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 tspdried basil
-
1 tspminced garlic
-
1/8 tsppepper
How To Make simply light creamy chicken casserole

1Heat oven to 325. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine crushed crackers and butter, mix well.

2Set aside 1/3 cup cracker mix. Spoon remaining cracker mix into bottom of baking dish. Evenly place chicken over crackers. Sprinkle chicken w/ peas.

3In another bowl, combine soups, sour cream, water, garlic, basil and pepper, mix well. Pour mix over chicken mix. Sprinkle w/ reserved cracker mix. Bake 1 hr, or until bubbly.
