Ingredients For simplified butter chicken

2 lbboneless/skinless chicken thighs

1 cfull fat plain greek yogurt

2 Tbspgaram masala indian seasoning

1 stickbutter

1 Tbspolive oil
-
1 mdonion, chopped

3 clovegarlic, smashed
-
1 tspginger
-
1/2 ccream
-
1 tspchili powder
-
salt and pepper
How To Make simplified butter chicken

1Start by cutting chicken into bite size pieces, season with 1 tablespoon of the garam masala, add the cup of full fat plain Greek yogurt, combine well and place in a plastic bag. Marinade a few hours or over night.

2In a non stick skillet put half stick of butter and the olive oil, over medium heat cook the chicken 5 mins.

3Remove the chicken, set aside, in same skillet, add onions, garlic, ginger and tomatoes, cook about 5 mins.

4Add in a blender and blend till to make the sauce

5Add back into skillet, add remainder butter & garam masala, add in salt/pepper/chili powder & cream.

6Add chicken back in, stir and cover, simmer about 30 mins. Serve with white rice & warm roti or warm Naan bread.
