shoyu chicken
(3 ratings)
I have been making shoyu chicken for almost 50 yrs of marriage. Its a dish you find at most Hawaiian Restaurants in Hawaii. This is my own recipe for the sauce. If you use less chicken then of course you would make less sauce. Just make sure the shoyu/sugar/water is of equal portions. and less of the garlic/ginger/sesame oil. I use it to make beef or pork teriyaki or rumaki. Its best if you place the meat and sauce in a ziplock bag/bags over night in the refrigerator if making beef , pork teriyaki or rumaki
