Ingredients For roasted lemon garlic wings

  • 1 pkg
drummettes (chicken wings without the wing tips)
  • oil
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    paprika

How To Make roasted lemon garlic wings

  • 1
In small bowl, add juice, zest, water & garlic; mix well. In a large zip lock bag, add chicken & then pour lemon/garlic mixture over, mushing to coat chicken. Let marinate at least 4 hours for flavors to marry.
  • 2
In a small bowl, add salt, pepper & paprika; mix to combine. Set aside.
  • 3
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • 4
Take a baking sheet & liberally grease with oil. NOTE: This is a very important step, because I forgot to do so & the wings stuck to the baking sheet - see last picture - but they weren't taken off yet.

Place drummettes evenly on oiled baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with salt mixture. Roast 45 minutes & enjoy.
