Chicken, browned in homemade BBQ, then finished in the oven with a bit of sherry. YUM!

Ingredients For roasted barbecue chicken, mom

  • 4 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 4 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    oil
  • 4 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 lb
    chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 c
    dry sherry

How To Make roasted barbecue chicken, mom

    Mix all but chicken, water and sherry. Brown chicken in this, in electric fry pan on 325 degrees. Add salt. put meat in shallow baking pan, add water and sherry to taste. Cover and roast 1 1/2 hours or until tender at 325 degrees. Browning can be done ahead of time. Chicken should be at room temperature before roasting in the oven if you do...
