This is a delicious open-faced chicken sandwich to serve with a bowl of soup for a fast and hearty meal. I tweaked it from the original recipe to suit our tastes, and it turned out a keeper for us. Hope you like it. Enjoy!

Ingredients For bonnie's ranch chicken stuffed french bread

1loaf of good french bread sliced in half

1cup cooked shredded chicken, breast meat

1/4cup mayonnaise

1/4cup sour cream

1/2package of ranch dressing mix

1/2cup chopped sweet onion

1tablespoon dried parsley
-
1 1/4cup of sharp cheddar cheese shredded

1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Assemble all the ingredients, and grate the cheese. Reserve 1/4 cup for topping.

3Mix the shredded chicken, cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, and ranch dressing mix.

4Chop the onion and add to the mixture.

5Spread the mixture evenly onto the bread.

6Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle reserved cheese on top, return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
