Ingredients For purple soup

  • 4-6
    chicken breasts (chopped)
  • 3-4
    chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 pkg
    small bag baby carrots
  • 1 pkg
    fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2
    head of red cabbage cut in slim 2" strips
  • 1 can
    large can of diced tomatoes
  • 3
    zucchini's cut into bite sizes
  • 1
    large onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    powder sage
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder or 3 cloves crushed

How To Make purple soup

  • 1
    * Amount you use will depend upon the amount of soup you wish to make. Brown the chicken bites in the oleo or olive oil then add, water, bouillon cubes, spices, baby carrots, and mushrooms. Let this cook approximately 12 minutes until veggies are tender then add cabbage, tomatoes, onion and zucchini. Let this cook an additional 12 minutes until the zucchini just starts to turn. Great served with Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top and with garlic or cheesy bread.
