1 Tbsptamari sauce

1 Tbsplime juice, freshly squeezed

salt, kosher variety, to taste

white pepper, freshly ground, to taste

1 lbbrined chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, about two regular breasts

2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

3Combine the honey, tamari sauce and lime juice in a bowl, and season with a bit of salt, and white pepper.

4Add the chicken breasts.

5Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

6Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 400f (205c).

7Add the chicken to an ovenproof pan with a tight-fitting lid.

8Cover the chicken, and place in the preheated oven until cooked and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes.

9Remove from the oven, uncover, and then place the pan under a broiler for about 1 – 2 minutes.
