  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    tamari sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • white pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 1 lb
    brined chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, about two regular breasts

    Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

    Combine the honey, tamari sauce and lime juice in a bowl, and season with a bit of salt, and white pepper.

    Add the chicken breasts.

    Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

    Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 400f (205c).

    Add the chicken to an ovenproof pan with a tight-fitting lid.

    Cover the chicken, and place in the preheated oven until cooked and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes.

    Remove from the oven, uncover, and then place the pan under a broiler for about 1 – 2 minutes.
