This is one of my favorite recipes. You can use any flavor cheese you want, or any type of meat you want.

Ingredients For potato casserole

  • 2 lb
    frozen hash browns, thawed 
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, chopped
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb
    ring of polish sausage, sliced
  • more regular onions, chopped (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make potato casserole

  • 1
    In a large bowl mix the butter and the potatoes, add the remaining ingredients, mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 1 ½ hours, covered.
