This something I came up with on Sunday. It turned out so good. Will be trying this on chicken next.

Ingredients For pork steaks w/apricot basting glase. bob's

  • 2 lg
    pork steaks
  • 1/2 jar
    apricot preserves.about 9oz
  • 1/4 c
    apricot brandy
  • 1/3 c
    maple syrup
  • 2 clove
    garlic,minced fine
  • 1 sm
    onion,diced fine.
  • mrs dash onion & herb seasoning blend for steaks.

How To Make pork steaks w/apricot basting glase. bob's

    Set up grill for med-high heat. While grill is pre-heating. I a sauce pan add apricot preserves, brandy, maple syrup, onion, and garlic.. Heat to a low boil. stirring to mix well. Remove from heat.

    Once grill is ready. sprinkle a little Mrs. Dash on both sides of pork steaks. Grill for 3-4 min. Per side. Basting when turning. Will take about 8-10 min to cook through. Put meat on a platter and baste one more time before serving.. Enjoy.
